Bus (from downtown SF):
Take bus #9 on Market St to San Bruno & Mansell St. Transfer to bus #29 and ride right into the park. Bus #29 runs right through park on Mansell St. Exit at the amphitheatre (ask the bus driver!)

BART/Bus:
BART to Balboa Park Station. Catch bus #29 on the corner of Geneva and San Jose streets. Bus #29 runs right through park on Mansell St. Exit at the amphitheatre (ask the bus driver!)

From San Francisco and the North Bay:
Take 101 South After 3.2 miles take the Paul Avenue exit and GO UP Mansell Street. Go for about ¾ of a mile and then take a right onto John F. Shelley Drive. The amphitheatre will be on your left.

From the East Bay:
Take the bay bridge to 101 South, then follow the directions above from San Francisco.

From the South Bay:
From 101 N take the Third Street exit toward Silver Avenue. Stay straight to go onto Bayshore Blvd. Turn left on Paul Avenue and then left on San Bruno Avenue. Turn right onto Mansell Street and drive for 3/4 mile. Turn right onto John F. Shelley Drive.

From the Excelsior / Ingleside / Southwest  part of SF:
Take Ocean Ave. to Mission St. Cross Mission St. where Ocean Ave. becomes Persia St. Continue on Persia where it enters McLaren Park as Mansell St. Continue on Mansell to Shelley Dr. Go left onto Shelley and continue until you see the Amphitheater sign.

From the Bayview / Portola / Southeast  part of SF:
Take Silver Ave. and go west to Cambridge St. Take a left onto Cambridge and continue until it becomes Shelley Drive. Bear left onto Shelley and continue until you see the Amphitheater sign.

From the Mission District:
Take Mission St. South to Silver Ave. Take a left onto Silver Ave. and continue to Cambridge. Take a right onto Cambridge and continue until it becomes Shelley Dr.  Bear left onto Shelley and continue until you see the Amphitheater sign.

PARKING: Park anywhere along Shelley Dr. and walk along the Drive or across the fields to the amphitheater.

Carpooling and Public transportation is strongly suggested.
