Jerry Day Guidelines
Bring a positive attitude!
We are committed to fostering a relaxed atmosphere, but there are certain guidelines that must be abided by in order to ensure a good festival for everyone.
Event Guidelines and restrictions being highlighted this year - VERY IMPORTANT!
PARKED CARS!
Please do not leave any valuables in your car. The best way to assure yourself of your car not being broken into is to remove every single valuable in your car. Thank You!
NO SMOKING!
SF Recreation and Park wants us to announce this a few times before and during the event. Per past permits, here's the No Smoking message that will be carried out:
Smoking is prohibited on any unenclosed area of property in the City and County of San Francisco that is open to the public and under the jurisdiction of the recreation and park commission or any other property used for recreational purposes. (Article 191: Prohibiting smoking in City Park and Recreational Areas).
PETS!
For a variety of reasons we discourage bringing pets to this event. We have a lot of kids who come to this event and we ask that you please leave your pets at home. If you have to bring pets please keep them on a short leash, take them to the outside perimiter of the amphitheater, and keep everybody's safety in mind! Thank You. All dogs, if you decide to bring them, must be kept on short leashes. Unruly dogs will not be allowed and if present, we will ask for them to leave. PLEASE consider leaving your pets behind. Thank You!
Other Guidelines:
- No Glass Bottles
- No Kegs
- No Fireworks
- No charcoal grills
- No smoking
- No unauthorized vending - if you're not a registered vendor you cannot sell or distribute anything on the festival grounds. Violators are subject to confiscation and/or ejection
- No soliciting of other events or other entities unless authorized or given permission.
- Audience and radio taping only (no soundboard patches). Video Taping on tripods must be granted permission.
- No motorized vehicles (golf carts, motorcycles).
- Festival goers must abide by all local, state, and federal laws. NO ALCOHOL OR DRUG SALES (including nitrous oxide) tolerated anywhere on the festival site or annexed properties. Anyone caught selling or distributing illicit substances will immediately be ejected from the festival. Further legal repercussions are likely. Your cooperation is essential to the festival's future. We cannot over-emphasize this. Keep in mind that this is a family friendly and be aware / respectful of your surroundings.
Don't Forget to Bring:
- Cash (No ATM's on site)
- Warm clothes (can get windy)
- Water bottles
- Plastic bags for trash and recycling
- Festive clothing and fun costume wear
- Lawn Chair
- Blankets
- Food!
